GUITARRA SOLO

instrumental

"Pelas Ruas da Cidade"

Bruno Fonseca considers himself a popular guitarist, integrating the identity of Portuguese culture into his compositions. In this show we hear everything from Fado to Portuguese Popular Music, including classical music by renowned composers such as H. Villa-Lobos, Máximo Diego Pujol, Gaspara Sanz and Francisco Tárrega.

In Guitar Solo, the composer offers us a visit to the city of Lisbon, along the banks of the river, to this Lusitanian land where the hills and the light come together in eternal communion.
The concert also allows a journey through some of the images present in our collective memory: the Tagus River, the seven hills, a typical neighborhood and also the light that covers this beautiful city, being brought together here in sweet classical guitar melodies.

The surprise of the performance also involves the inclusion of some moments where the Portuguese guitar takes on the role of soloist and transports us through the alleys of Alfama, through the torn strings of Carlos Paredes and the sweet nostalgia that invades us, the Portuguese.
